The Natural Gas Subscription & Activation Process, Step by Step

If you're switching to natural gas for the first time, the process can look complex at first glance. It's actually quite simple once you know the steps. Here's the full roadmap.

1. Subscription application

You apply for a subscription with the gas distribution company in your area. The required documents are usually:

• Copy of ID
• Title deed or rental agreement
• Compulsory earthquake insurance (DASK) policy

2. Design and internal installation

A certified company prepares the internal installation project and submits it for approval. After approval, the installation is carried out. Material quality and workmanship are very important at this stage.

3. Inspection and gas activation

Once the installation is complete, a tightness test is performed and the distribution company comes for inspection. For an approved installation, gas activation is carried out and the devices are commissioned.
